Meet Your Hosts
Hey, I’m Tara, a proud mom of two daughters in NCAA Division I gymnastics. I have enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom while witnessing their determination, creativity, and hard work pay off in both athletics and life.
I consider myself a savvy travel agent as a result of planning and navigating our family’s whereabouts over the years. I’m a vegetarian foodie who loves traveling, as well as getting in a good workout, taking walks, singing Broadway show tunes, playing games, and hitting the ski slopes out west.
Though a Columbus native and Ohio State Buckeye, I have now lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan for almost 20 years. I am so excited to bring you this podcast, and I am thrilled you are visiting Sports Mom Rapport where we highlight and connect with incredible moms!
Hey girl hey! I’m Destinee, a sports mom of three daughters who compete in multiple sports throughout the year. I’ve been happily married for 18 years to my husband, who is a former Division 1 college head coach and currently a TV basketball analyst.
I spend most of my time as the CEO of our household, managing schedules, prepping meals and traveling to sports practices and events. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, watching a new Netflix series, listening to audiobooks and board games with my family.
After 10+ years in the corporate world, I now find ways to give back to my community through volunteerism, serving on the Board of Directors for a local non-profit and co-creating the Sports Mom Rapport podcast. Thanks for checking out our website. I can’t wait for you to listen and love this podcast!
