Often it is the athletes themselves that are highlighted, and rightfully so. However, behind each athlete is a support system with a story of their own. In August 2022, Tara thought it would be really cool to highlight the moms of athletes while sharing experiences and having impactful conversations.  After exploring the idea a bit more, Tara sought feedback to see if there would actually be an audience for it. She ran the idea by her good friend, Destinee, whom she admired and respected ever since they had met years prior from their daughters at the same gymnastics club. When Tara shared the vision of creating this podcast, Destinee was immediately intrigued and proposed to go on this new adventure with her. In their conversation, they both realized how encouraging and refreshing it is for other sports moms to relate and find comfort, as they are all on similar journeys and can learn from each other. From that day forward, together they have dove into creating this new podcast!
